Packaging Corp. of America (NYSE: PKG), Lake Forest, IL, reported 2017 sales of $6.4 billion, up 11.5 percent from 2016. Profit increased 48.7 percent to $668.6 million.
Sales for the fourth quarter were $1.7 billion, up 14.1 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Profit was $268.9 million compared to $110.6 million a year ago.
