Owens & Minor, Inc. (NYSE: OMI), Richmond, VA, reported full year sales for 2013 of $9.1 billion, an increase of 2.3 percent from the previous year. Profit increased 1.7 percent to $111 million.
Sales for the fourth quarter were $2.3 billion, a 1.1 percent increase over the same period a year ago. Profit increased 12 percent to $27.9 million.
Domestic revenues for the fourth quarter we're effectively unchanged, while full-year 2013 domestic revenues declined less than 1 percent to $8.7 billion. International segment sales for the quarter were up 8.6 percent, while full-year international sales more than doubled to $383.5 million.
