Owens & Minor Inc. (NYSE: OMI), Richmond, Virginia, reported sales for the third quarter of $2.4 billion, down 2.7% year-over-year. The company reported a profit for the quarter of $1.2 million, compared to a loss of $0.6 million the previous year’s quarter.
For the first nine months, the company reported sales of $7.3 billion, up 0.7% from the same period in 2018. The company reported a loss for the period of $23.3 million, compared to a loss of $175 million in 2018.
