Owens & Minor Inc. (NYSE: OMI), Richmond, VA, reported sales for 2015 of $9.8 billion, an increase of 3.5 percent from the previous year. Profit increased 55.5 percent to $103.4 million.
Sales for the fourth quarter were $2.5 billion, flat compared with the same period a year ago. Profit increased 129.3 percent to $32.1 million.
Domestic segment sales for the fourth quarter were $2.4 billion, an increase of 1.3 percent year-over-year. For 2015, sales increased 4.5 percent to $9.4 billion.
International segment sales decreased 25.6 percent to $103 million in the fourth quarter. For 2015, sales were $417 million, down 14.6 percent.
