Industrial equipment service provider and distributor Ohio Transmission Corp., Columbus, OH, has acquired Buckeye Pumps Inc., Galion, OH, a provider of engineered process system and pump solutions for customers in industrial and municipal markets.
Buckeye Pumps will operate as a division of OTP Industrial Solutions, a division of Ohio Transmission Corp. that provides solutions for industrial motion control, fluid power, power transmission and pumping systems.
“The addition of Buckeye reinforces our already strong pump team throughout Ohio and neighboring states and strengthens our commitment to the pump business in these markets,” said Rob Webb, president of OTP Industrial Solutions.
With this acquisition, Ohio Transmission Corp. now has 23 locations throughout the Midwest, South and the Northeast, along with eight service shops. The addition of Buckeye Pumps’ 23 associates brings Ohio Transmission Corp.’s existing workforce to 650 employees.
