NOW Inc. (NYSE: DNOW), Houston, TX, reported sales for the third quarter of $520 million, down 30.9 percent year-over-year. The company reported a loss of $56 million for the quarter, compared to a loss of $224 million the prior year.

Third-quarter sales in the U.S. were $372 million, down 25 percent year-over-year. Sales in Canada were down 29 percent to $67 million, and international sales were down 50 percent to $81 million.

Year-to-date sales were $1.6 billion, down 33.7 percent year-over-year. The company reported a loss of $163 million for the period, compared to a loss of $253 million the prior year.
