NetPlus Alliance Taps New VP of Distributor Development

Paul Byrnes formerly worked for United Stationers/ORS Nasco.

NetPlus Alliance, Lockport, NY, a buying group for industrial and contractor supplies distributors, has announced Paul Byrnes as the company’s new vice president of distributor development.           

Byrnes has worked 40 years in the distribution industry, including 30 years in industrial distribution. Prior to joining NetPlus Alliance, he has been with United Stationers/ORS Nasco for the past 19 years, including the last 11 years with ORS Nasco as regional sales director. Byrnes said in his new role, it will be his job to help members overcome any disadvantages they may have in size or reach through NetPlus Alliance's combined member buying power.

Byrnes will be based out of Pittsburgh. Primary responsibilities will include making personal visits to existing NetPlus members, providing guidance to support members in their business, assisting in the application of best practices and increasing the NetPlus distributor member base.
