Myers Industries Inc. (NYSE: MYE), Akron, OH, has completed the sale of its lawn & garden business for $110 million to an entity controlled by Wingate Partners V LP, a Dallas, TX-based private equity firm.
The sale includes manufacturing facilities and offices located in Twinsburg, OH, Middlefield, OH, Sparks, NV, Sebring, FL, Brantford, ON and Burlington, ON.
The lawn & garden business was moved to discontinued operations as of the second quarter of 2014 and had annual net sales of approximately $188 million.
