Myers Industries Inc. (NYSE: MYE), Akron, OH, reported sales for the third quarter of $144.1 million, up 8.6 percent from the prior-year period. Profit was $3.3 million, up from $0.4 million the prior year.
For the first nine months, sales were $428.1 million, up slightly from the prior-year period. Profit was $8.4 million, up 203.6 percent from the same period in 2016.
