Motion Industries Acquires Oil & Gas Supply

Purchase expands company's Northwest footprint.

Motion Industries, No. 6 on MDM’s 2014 list of the top 40 industrial distributors, has acquired Oil & Gas Supply, Anchorage, AK.

The purchase will help Motion Industries, Birmingham, AL, a subsidiary of Genuine Parts Co. (NYSE: GPC), Atlanta, GA, expand its Northwest footprint, serving industries including mining, construction and fishing, in addition to oil and gas.
