Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: LECO), Cleveland, OH, reported third quarter sales of $567.6 million, a year-over-year decrease of 12 percent. Profit was $60 million, compared to a loss of $60.5 million the prior year.
Sales for the first nine months decreased 13.1 percent year-over-year to $1.7 billion. Profit increased 84 percent to $145 million.
