Electronic components distributor TTI Inc., Fort Worth, TX, a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary, has merged its commodity passive and specialty passive and discrete semiconductor product teams.

The change expands the role of two TTI executives: Jeff Ray is now vice president of passives and discrete semiconductor product marketing, and Mike Wood is vice president of passive and discrete semiconductor asset management. Ray is now positioned to lead the team in providing a consistent approach to inventory, sales support, supplier marketing, technical marketing and new product introduction, the company said. Wood will develop and lead a dedicated team of specialists focused on special asset strategy and management.
