Lawson Products Acquires Perfect Products

Lawson Products Inc. (NASDAQ:LAWS), Chicago, IL, has acquired Perfect Products Co., Clinton Township, MI. Terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 1959, Perfect Products is a family-owned, full-service distributor of fasteners, bolts, nuts, clips and screws for domestic and imported vehicles.

"This acquisition is an excellent strategic fit, with a similar value proposition to our Kent Automotive brand," said Michael DeCata, president and CEO, Lawson Products. "As we continue to focus on top line growth, we will look for more excellent opportunities like this where we can grow our sales force and leverage our infrastructure."
