Lawson Products Inc. (NASDAQ:LAWS), Chicago, IL, has acquired distributor Mattic Industries Ltd., Vancouver, British Columbia. Terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1982, Mattic Industries has 18 employees and is a distributor of rivets, fasteners and other industrial components throughout Western Canada. The company provides vendor managed inventory (VMI) services to customers. Mattic has distribution centers in Surrey, British Columbia, and Calgary, Alberta.
