Kimberly-Clark Corp., Dallas, TX, has approved $30 million to expand and improve its nonwovens manufacturing facility in Hendersonville, NC. The plant produces nonwoven materials for the company’s North American adult and feminine care brands.
The two-year project will expand the plant’s production capacity and efficiency, and is expected to add 14 new jobs while maintaining current employment, the company said.
Separately, Kimberly-Clark said it has named Giuseppina Buonfantino as its chief marketing officer. She will report to Tony Palmer, president of Global Brands and Innovation. Buonfantino most recently served as president of Kimberly-Clark’s baby and child care business in North America.
