Kaman Corp. (NYSE: KAMN), Bloomfield, CT, reported sales for the third quarter sales of $443.1 million, down 0.9 percent year-over-year. Profit decreased from $16.3 million to $1.4 million.
Distribution sales for the third quarter grew 6.7 percent to $285.9 million. Aerospace sales fell 12.3 percent to $157.1 million.
For the first nine months, sales were $1.4 billion, up 3.2 percent year-over-year. Profit decreased 15.3 percent to $30.6 million.
