Kaman Corp. (NYSE: KAMN), Bloomfield, CT, reported sales for 2016 of $1.8 billion, up 1.9 percent from the prior year. Profit fell 2.6 percent to $58.9 million.
Distribution sales fell 6 percent for the year to $1.1 billion, while aerospace sales grew 17.5 percent to $702 million.
For the fourth quarter, Kaman Corp. sales were $433 million, down 4.2 percent year-over-year. Profit increased 72.4 percent to $15.1 million.
Distribution sales fell 3.2 percent in the fourth quarter to $257.2 million, compared to the same period a year ago. Aerospace segment sales fell 5.7 percent to $175.8 million.
