Kaman Corp. (NYSE: KAMN), Bloomfield, CT, reported sales for the second quarter sales of $449 million, down 4.6 percent year-over-year. Profit decreased 18.4 percent to $13.5 million.
Distribution sales for the second quarter declined 2.6 percent to $278.7 million. Aerospace sales fell 7.7 percent to $170.3 million.
For the first six months, sales were $884.9 million, down 4 percent year-over-year. Profit decreased 24.8 percent to $19.7 million.
