Hurco Companies Inc. (Nasdaq: HURC), Indianapolis, IN, reported sales for the fiscal second quarter ended April 30 of $52 million, up 4 percent from the same period a year ago. Profit decreased 7.8 percent to $3.7 million.
For the first six months, sales were $108.5 million, up 7 percent over the same period one year prior. Profit decreased 2.1 percent to $7.6 million.
