Hubbell Inc. (NYSE: HUBA, HUBB), Shelton, CT, reported sales for the third quarter of $907.4 million, an increase of 3.5 percent over the same period a year ago. Profit increased 18.3 percent to $86.7 million.
For the first nine months, sales were $2.7 billion, an increase of 3.5 percent year-over-year. Profit increased 5.9 percent to $228.6 million.
