Hubbell Inc. (NYSE: HUBA, HUBB), Shelton, CT, reported sales for the third quarter of $877 million, a decrease of 2 percent over the same period a year ago. Profit decreased 18.2 percent to $73.3 million.
For the first nine months, sales were $2.6 billion, an increase of 2 percent year-over-year. Profit decreased 11.6 percent to $215.8 million.
