Houston Wire & Cable Names President of Vertex Distribution

Vertex Corporate Holdings Inc., Houston, TX, a division of Houston Wire & Cable Company (NASDAQ:HWCC), has named Richard Megliola as president. Megliola was previously director of sales North America for Acument Global Technology, a division of Fontana Gruppo Special Fasteners.

Megliola is currently serving as a board member on the National Fastener Distributors Association (NFDA).

Houston Wire & Cable Co.acquired Vertex Corporate Holdings Inc. and its subsidiaries from DXP Enterprises Inc. in 2016 for $32.3 million.
