Hagemeyer North America-Industrial Distribution Group, Charlotte, NC, a subsidiary of Sonepar USA, has announced it will rebrand as Vallen Distribution Inc.
The company will begin operating under the Vallen brand as of mid-October 2016. The use of the name, which in the U.S. is typically associated with safety equipment, will expand to encompass all U.S. business lines of Hagemeyer-IDG. The two Sonepar operations in Canada and Mexico that also use the Vallen name will continue unchanged.
Hagemeyer North America and IDG joined forces in 2014.
