Electrical, communications and data networking products distributor Graybar, St. Louis, reported second-quarter sales of $2 billion, a 6.3% increase compared to the same period last year. Profit for the quarter was $47 million, up 5.6% from the same period in 2018.
For the first six months of the year, the company reported net sales of $3.7 billion, a 7.4% increase compared to the same period last year. Net income for the first six months of the year increased 23.9% to $81.3 million.
