Pump and compressor manufacturer Gardner Denver (NYSE: GDI) reported $713 million in revenues for the fourth quarter of 2018, up 7 percent over the prior-year period. Net income was $95 million, compared with $144 million a year ago.
By segment, fourth-quarter industrial sales rose 8 percent to $338 million while energy segment sales rose 4 percent to $307 million and medical segment sales rose 17 percent to $68 million.
For the full year, total company sales reached $2.7 billion, up 13 percent compared with 2017. Net income for the year was $269 million, the company reported.
