Fastenal Co. (Nasdaq: FAST), Winona, Minnesota, reported sales of $1.38 billion for its fiscal third quarter, a 7.8% increase compared with same period a year ago. Quarterly profit was $213.5 million, an 8% increase compared to the year-ago period.
Sales for the first nine months of Fastenal’s fiscal 2019 were $4.06 billion, an 8.7% increase compared with the first nine months of 2018. Profit for the first nine months increased 5% to $612.2 million.
