Fastenal Co. (Nasdaq: FAST), Winona, MN, reported January sales of $446.9 million, up 13.3 percent over the year-ago period. The company reported daily sales of $20.3 million, also up 13.3 percent versus a year ago.

By region, U.S. sales grew 12.5 percent in January, while total North American sales grew 13.2 percent. By end market, manufacturing sales grew nearly 14 percent while non-residential construction grew nearly 17 percent, the company said.
