The Fastenal Company (Nasdaq: FAST), Winona, MN, reported sales for November of $298.2 million, a 4.1 percent increase year-over-year. Daily sales decreased 1.1 percent to an average of $14.9 million.
During the month, sales to manufacturing customers fell 1.6 percent, while sales to nonresidential construction customers fell 5.1 percent.
Store count was 2,626, compared to 2,648 a year ago. Employee headcount increased 12.5 percent year-over-year to 20,784.
