DXP Enterprises Inc. (NASDAQ: DXPE), Houston, TX, reported sales for the third quarter of $230 million, a decrease of 24.1 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Profit was $240,000, compared to a loss of $52.5 million the prior year.
For the first nine months, sales were $739.8 million, a decrease of 23.6 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Profit was $253,000, compared to a loss of $35.7 million the prior year.
