Danaher Corp. (NYSE: DHR), Washington, DC, reported sales for 2016 of $16.9 billion, a 17 percent increase over the same period a year ago. Profit increased 23.9 percent to $2.6 billion.
For the fourth quarter, sales were $4.6 billion, up 6 percent over the same period in 2015. Profit increased 8.5 percent to $747 million.
