Danaher Corp. (NYSE: DHR), Washington, DC, reported second-quarter earnings of $673.8 million, a 20 percent increase over the same period a year ago. Sales for quarter were up more than 10 percent to $4.98 billion.
For the first six months of 2018, Danaher reported earnings of $1.2 billion on sales of $9.67 billion.
Danaher’s second-quarter performance was broad-based, with four of its five business platforms delivering mid-single digit or better core revenue growth, according to President and CEO Thomas P. Joyce, Jr.
