Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH), Dublin, OH, reported second-quarter fiscal year 2019 sales of $37.7 billion, up 7 percent compared with the same period a year ago.
Sales in the company’s pharmaceuticals segment grew 8 percent to $33.7 billion. Sales in its medical segment fell 1 percent to $4 billion, due to the divestiture of its China distribution and naviHealth businesses, offset by growth from existing customers, the company said.
