Bunzl plc, the UK-based international distribution and outsourcing group, has acquired England-based Classic Printed Bag Co. Ltd. and Belgium-based Polaris Chemicals SPRL. Terms were not disclosed.

The Classic Printed Bag Co., with 2015 sales of £7 million (US$9.5 million), also has an office in Hong Kong and is engaged in the development and distribution of bespoke retail packaging for non-food retailers in the UK, Hong Kong and elsewhere in Europe.

Polaris Chemicals, with 2015 sales of £3 million (US$4.1 million), is a distributor of cleaning and hygiene supplies to both redistributors and end users throughout the Brussels and Walloon regions of Belgium.

Bunzl has now acquired five businesses so far this year with a total committed spend of approximately £80 million (US$108.1 million).
