Bunzl plc, the international distribution and outsourcing group, has acquired Tecnopacking, Valencia, Spain, a distributor of industrial and disposable packaging products in Spain and Portugal.

Bunzl has also acquired two separate businesses in Vancouver, Canada. AMFAS and Western Safety are distributors of commercial and industrial first aid and safety supplies throughout Western Canada. Terms were not disclosed.

Bunzl has now acquired eight businesses so far this year. Group revenue for the half year is expected to have increased by 7 percent (at constant exchange rates) due to improved underlying growth of between 3 percent and 4 percent and similar impact from acquisitions.
