Bunzl plc, the international distribution and outsourcing group, acquired cleaning and hygiene supplies business Acme Supplies, Vancouver Island, Canada. Acme's revenue for the year ended November 30 was C$16 million (US$13.9 million).
Citing the current ripe environment for acquisitions, Bunzl said it projects revenue growth for the year to be approximately 6 percent, due to underlying revenue growth of about 2.5 percent and the positive impact of acquisitions. The operating margin should be slightly ahead of the prior year.
