Bunzl plc, the UK-based international distribution and outsourcing group, has acquired three companies – one each in Brazil, Spain and New Zealand.
Bunzl acquired Casa do Epi Ltda in Brazil. Based in the state of Minas Gerais with a sales office in São Paulo, the company sells personal protection equipment to customers in the mining, construction and manufacturing sectors. 2014 revenue BRL$83.2 million (US$21.7 million).
Bunzl also acquired Cemelim in Barcelona, Spain, and ICB Cleaning Supplies in Auckland, New Zealand, both of which are cleaning and hygiene supply distributors. The aggregate annual revenue of both businesses is £5 million (US$7.5 million).

"The business has an excellent reputation and a broad customer base and will strengthen our market position in the state of Minas Gerais, while Cemelim and ICB will add further scale to our cleaning and hygiene supplies businesses in Spain and New Zealand, respectively.”
