Safety products manufacturer Brady Corp. (NYSE: BRC), Milwaukee, WI, reported sales for the fiscal year ended July 31 of $1.1 billion, a 0.6 percent decrease from the previous year. Profit was $95.6 million, up 19.6 percent over the prior year.
The company reported sales for the fourth quarter of $289.2 million, an increase of 2.5 percent year-over-year. Profit was $25.2 million, up 0.4 percent from the same period in 2016. Organic sales increased 3 percent for the quarter, driven by Brady's identification solutions business.
