Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. (NASDAQ: BECN), Herndon, VA, has acquired Wholesale Roofing Supply, a Dallas, TX, distributor of residential roofing materials. WRS sales are expected to hit $34 million in 2014.
Paul Isabella, Beacon's CEO and president, said the acquisition "greatly broadens our footprint in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and enables us to even better and more quickly serve the surrounding area customer base."
Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. is a distributor of residential and commercial roofing materials and complementary building products, with 254 branches in 40 states in the U.S. and six provinces in Canada.
