Atlas Copco to Acquire Varisco

Acquisition helps company grow its pump business.

Atlas Copco, Stockholm, Sweden, has agreed to acquire Varisco, an Italian pump manufacturer.

Varisco, with 135 employees and 2014 sales of €30 million (US$32.9 million), will become part of the portable energy division in the construction technique business area.

The acquisition helps Atlas Copco grow its pump business.
