Swedish manufacturer Atlas Copco (STO: ATCOA, ATCOB), Nacka, Sweden, reported revenues for the third quarter of SEK 26.5 billion (US$3 billion), a 3 percent increase over the same period a year ago. Profit decreased 11 percent to SEK 3.4 billion (US$384 million).
For the first nine months, sales were SEK 77.4 billion (US$8.7 billion), up 1 percent year-over-year. Profit decreased 11 percent to SEK 9.5 billion (US$1.1 billion).
