Swedish manufacturer Atlas Copco, (STO: ATCOA, ATCOB), Nacka, Sweden, reported revenues for the second quarter of SEK 26.1 billion (US$3.1 billion), a 12 percent increase over the same period a year ago. Organic sales declined 3 percent. Profit increased 14 percent to SEK 3.7 billion (US$0.4 billion).
For the first half, sales were SEK 50.9 billion (US$6 billion), up 14 percent year-over-year. Profit increased 16 percent to SEK 6.9 billion (US$0.8 billion).
