Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZ) said it will build its first Mississippi fulfillment center, to be located in Marshall County. The facility will create 850 full-time jobs where employees will pick, pack and ship household consumer goods.
Marshall County is in northern Mississippi. Amazon did not say when the 554,000 square-foot facility is scheduled to open. Items shipped from the facility will include lawn and garden products, toiletries and other household consumer goods, Amazon said.
