Motion control manufacturer Allied Motion Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: AMOT), Amherst, NY, has named Rob Maida as vice president of operational excellence, a newly created position.
Mike Leach will succeed Maida as CFO of the company.
Maida, a certified Lean Master, will be directly responsible for leading and promoting continuous improvement through the implementation of Allied systematic tools on a world-wide basis and in all areas of the business. He will also oversee the company’s information technology function.
