Swedish manufacturer Alfa Laval reported sales for 2018 of SEK 40.7 billion (US$4.4 billion), up 15% over sales in 2017. Profit rose 52% to SEK 4.5 billion (US$0.5 billion).
For the fourth quarter, sales were SEK 11.2 billion (US$1.2 billion), up 11% in a year-over-year comparison. Profit for the period rose 22% to SEK 1.3 billion (US$0.1 billion).
