Swedish manufacturer Alfa Laval (STO: ALFA) reported sales for the second quarter of SEK 9 billion (US$1.1 billion), a 12 percent decrease over the same period a year ago. Profit decreased 13.4 percent to SEK 931 million (US$108.9 million).
For the first six months, sales for the manufacturer were SEK 17.1 billion (US$2 billion), a decrease of 10.9 percent year-over-year. Profit decreased 7 percent to SEK 1.8 billion (US$210.6 million).
