Swedish manufacturer Alfa Laval reported sales for 2016 of SEK 35.6 billion (US$4.1 billion), down 10 percent over sales in 2015. Profit fell 40.1 percent to SEK 2.3 billion (US$262.6 million).
For the fourth quarter, sales were SEK 9.9 billion (US$1.1 billion), down 12 percent in a year-over-year comparison. Profit for the period fell 34.1 percent to SEK 616 million (US$70.3 million).
