Industrial gases distributor Air Products, Lehigh Valley, PA, reported fiscal third-quarter sales of $2.3 billion, up 3 percent over the prior year. Net income was $431 million, up 19 percent.
By segment, sales in the Americas rose 2 percent to $949 million; sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa rose 24 percent to $561 million; and sales in Asia rose 16 percent to $624 million, the company reported.
