Acuity Brands Inc. (NYSE: AYI), Atlanta, GA, provider of lighting and building management solutions, reported sales for the fiscal second quarter ending February 28, 2017 of $804.7 million, an increase of 3.5 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Profit increased 1.2 percent to $108 million.
For the first six months sales were $1.65 billion, an increase of 9.3 percent year-over year. Profit grew 7 percent to $234.6 million.
