Actuant Corp. (NYSE: ATU), Milwaukee, WI, reported sales for the third quarter of $295.4 million, a 3.7 percent decrease from the same period a year ago. The company reported a profit of $22.5 million, compared to $21.1 million year-over-year.
For the first nine months, sales were $820.1 million, a 6 percent decrease from the same period a year ago. The company reported a profit of $32.5 million, compared to a loss of $122.5 million for the same period a year ago.
