Building products distributor ABC Supply Co. Inc., Beloit, WI, will open its first North Dakota location in Fargo on August 18.

The new branch, managed by Ben Dahl, will carry a complete line of roofing materials including shingles and low-slope roofing products, siding and supplies for professional contractors.

“North Dakota’s economy is very strong thanks to the oil boom in the western part of the state,” said Jim Welch, vice president of ABC’s Midwest Region. “Unemployment is very low, construction activity is up and last year the new home market in Fargo was the strongest it has ever been.”
